FIDO: Hey, Fluff, what’re you doing so intently?

FLUFFY: I’m making a list and checking it twice.

FIDO: What kind of list?

FLUFFY: Mom asked me to put together a list of all the ways people can donate to Santé D’Or. I’ve found at least 9 different ways people can give!

FIDO: Wow, that’s a lot. I always thought people could just give money.

FLUFFY: Well, money’s the most important thing, of course. Donations keep our rescue alive and help pay all sorts of bills. We do need money! But people can also donate time, and they can donate stuff, as well.

FIDO: I think Meryl’s taking this month off, so I guess it’s up to us to get the word out.

FLUFFY: Yep, it is. Let’s start now! The first thing people need to know is that we are a 501 (c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Lots of people like to make donations at the end of the year! Santé D’Or’s tax ID number is 68-0547925.

FIDO: Okay, so what are the 9 ways?…

 

Donate Money: Santé D’Or gratefully accepts donations by check, credit card, PayPal and Network for Good.

When you make your donation to The Pearl Fund, it will go directly to the care of our older or chronically ill animals.

You’ll be helping with medical bills, special foods and medicines. Since Santé D’Or never turns anyone away due to their age, donations to this fund are especially important.

And we now have Ernie’s Aloha Fund, which was just set up in memory of one of our best feline friends and supporters. This fund was set up to help with the important expenses, like rent, utilities, phone bills and facility maintenance. When you make your donation before December 25th, Ernie’s best friend, Rudy Toot, will match it. Your dollars will go twice as far!

 

Help us through Amazon:

Amazon offers two great ways to donate to Santé D’Or:

 If you sign up on Amazon Smile (which has all of the same great stuff as regular Amazon), we will receive a donation of 0.5% of your purchase price of qualified items. It’s an easy way to give, and it may not seem like much, but every little bit adds up.

We also have an Amazon Wish List! This will let you buy us some of the things we really need. You pay right from your Amazon account, so you don’t need to enter any new payment information. And Amazon will ship the gift straight to the rescue for you!

Donate Stuff: Our wonderful animals love getting gifts. They appreciate clean towels and blankets, newspaper, wet and dry food (Taste of the Wild dry or Canidae Canned Life Stages Chicken and Rice), and Trader Joes Pine Kitty Litter.

 

Volunteer: If you love animals, come on by and volunteer! You can help take care of the animals, get trained to become an adoption counselor, or put your computer skills to work helping us keep our records up to date. We need help with social media, a good handyperson, photographers and graphic designers!
