The Treat Jar

August 23 - August 30

From August 23-30 we will be presenting The Treat Jar, a fundraiser that includes an online “paw-ction” and a series of special virtual events!

In the past we’ve depended upon in-person fundraising events, such as our annual Cocktails for Critters gala, to support the work that Santé D’Or does year-round. This year, with COVID-19 restrictions in place, gathering in groups will be off the table for the foreseeable future. This has also been the most intense kitten season we’ve seen in many years. We need all the help we can get!

Our fundraising goal is $50,000!

Last year, your generous donations helped cover these expenses:

  • The adoptions of 92 cats, 3 dogs, and 227 kittens
  • Vaccines, spay/neuter surgeries, and microchips for all of those animals
  • 40,800 pounds of cat litter
  • 600 cases of cat and kitten food
  • Continued care for animals who have not yet been adopted

Your donations also support urgent, lifesaving medical procedures for those in need. Recently we were able to save the life of Gertrude Robinson, a beautiful tortoiseshell who needed a blood transfusion when she began hemorrhaging after her spay surgery. We also rescued Matchstick, a plucky kitten who required surgery to remove tracheal polyps that made it difficult for him to breathe.
